Board of Directors Nomination Form
Serving on the Board of Directors of the Miracle Mile Community Improvement District (MMCID) is a significant commitment. Directors must prioritize monthly board meetings, held on the second Wednesday at 4:00 PM, and are expected to attend any emergency or special meetings as called by the board president. Consistent attendance is crucial, as missing three meetings may lead to removal from the board.
Additionally, each director is required to actively participate in at least one committee and to assist with the three major Miracle Mile events: the Taste of the Mile, Car Show & Concert, and Holiday Sip & Shop. This involvement is essential for fostering community engagement and ensuring the success of these initiatives.
To serve on the Board of Directors of the Miracle Mile Community Improvement District (MMCID), candidates must qualify as a Property Director or Community Director.
Property Owner Directors shall be owners of real property within the boundaries of the Miracle Mile Community Improvement District, who have made full payment of all District assessments due for the previous and current fiscal years, or be a duly appointed authorized representative of such owner.
Community Directors shall be persons who a) own and operate a business located on property located within the boundaries of the District, or the duly appointed authorized representative of such owner and operator; b) community members who reside within the boundaries of the District; c) individuals who do not reside or operate a business within the District/boundaries but who show a high degree of interest and concern for the welfare of the District and who understand its connection to the community at large.
The Miracle Mile Improvement District currently has six open seats on its Board of Directors:
