The Property Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of properties ranging from apartment complexes, duplexes, triplexes and Single family homes. The ideal Candidates for this position must be career minded, personable, self motivated with exceptional organizational skills, great customer service skills working with all levels in the community, and a need to understand financial reports as well as having superior writing skills. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a stable environment and is looking for long term employment.
The Property Manager is:
Accountable for all financial and management aspects of the assigned properties including preparing, implementing and adhering to the approved strategic plan.Responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with tenants and owners. Responsible for supervising the daily activities of the maintenance and other contract services at the properties.Responsible for all aspects of supervising Resident Managers
Tax Credit, Section 42 leasing paperwork experience (LIHTC – Low Income Housing Tax Credit) preferred.
Must obtain or possess a California Real Estate License within 6 months of employment.
2 to 3 years experience in Property Management or residential apartment management
Must have CA drivers license, Clean DMV record and reliable transportation
Some Knowledge of mobile home park laws or willing to learn
Knowledge of local market conditions and trends
Knowledge of fair housing laws
Knowledge of various state and federal subsidy (Section 8 H/A) programs and organizations preferred
CPM a plus
BS Degree a plus
Bilingual a plus
A candidate’s eagerness to learn and continue their education is a plus!!
